This website was developed for the Seven Oaks Met School to help organise their student’s presentations. It allows students to sign up for other students presentations as well as view information about there own. Teachers can get attendance info about there users and create / modify student presentations. Finally admins can manage when timeslots should be allowed, as well as creating new users and managing teachers.
The user system for this application includes three main types of users. There are Students, Advisors and Administrators. These different types of users all have vastly different permissions.
The algorithms used to show students presentations they can sign up for involves a lot sorting presentations based on a suite of different factors.
